There are two training sessions held yearly, the first session is a full time class that begins in Mid-May, concluding in the beginning of July. Successful graduates will begin patrol assignments for the Fourth of July weekend. The second session, known as the Winter Academy, is a part time session where applicants attend the Academy three nights a week and all day Saturday. The Winter Academy begins at the end of December, concluding in May. Successful graduates will begin patrol assignments for the Memorial Day Weekend.
All applications must be submitted by the deadlines listed below
dependent upon which session you have chosen.
Summer Academy (May – July) Applications submitted by December 1st
Summer Academy (December – May) Applications submitted by August 15th
Your application must be completed in its entirety. Any applications submitted incomplete will not be considered, so ensure that you answer every question. Complete the application as well as the Release of Personal Information Form. Print out both forms and take them to your local Notary to be notarized. When mailing in your application packet, please include with your copies of your G.E.D. Certificate, High School Diploma, College Degree and / or DD214 whichever is applicable. Mail your completed application package to the following address keeping the deadline for your chosen session in mind.
