The WFD Summer Cadet Firefighter Program will put kids into the world of firefighting as a smaller scale. We will have “Role Call” (attendance). Start out each day with 15 minute light workout related to the job of firefighting. Kids will work in different elements of our profession. They will be divided into 4 Platoons, just like the platoons of the Wildwood Fire Department. They will rotate through 4 stations each day. The last day will be at the beach followed by graduation ceremony.
